Jiu-Jitsu Fundamentals

The adult fundamentals class will give you the building blocks for applying efficient and effective techniques. The principles and concepts taught within these classes transcend the labels of ‘basic’ or ‘advanced’ and will be applied at all skill levels as you progress. For ages 13+.

Jiu-Jitsu Fundamentals is a beginner's self-defense program for ages 13 and over. In this program, you will learn over 60 techniques of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Each one-hour lesson addresses one standing and one ground technique, broken down into simplified drills to facilitate learning. You can start the program anytime and participate in any class without previous experience. Since safety is our number one concern, there is no competitive sparring in these classes.

The focus on real‐world self-defense separates this curriculum from other Brazilian Jiu‐Jitsu systems that are more sport based. If personal protection and physical fitness are your goals, Jiu‐Jitsu has a practical answer that will work for you.
