Last month we had the pleasure of hosting Professor Tim's first Gracie Jiu Jitsu teacher, Professor Ricardo Bayona, for a seminar here in Green Cove Springs. Ricardo has a wealth of experience in Gracie Jiu Jitsu having received his black belt from the Gracie Academy in Torrance under Ryron and Rener Gracie in 2011. Additionally, he has been teaching at his academy, Miloki Flow Key Biscayne, for the last 10 years.
The focus of the seminar was on the fundamentals of the mount position that included how to escape the mount and attacks from the mount. This was an amazing seminar with Ricardo, and it was great getting to share the mat with him again after so many years.
This seminar was the first of many scheduled in the coming months with Master Luiz Palhares scheduled for October 21st, and Professor Pedro Palhares early next year. We look forward to sharing the mat with you all soon!
